Bonnie Preusse, RA

Fellow - Preusse Design Studio

-

At a young age Bonnie realized that the spaces she occupied had the power to affect her mood. So she began to absorb everything she could about the built environment and became a licensed architect. Bonnie graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Bachelor's of Architecture. At the beginning of her career she worked in residential architecture in NY. The projects were impeccably detailed and well crafted. Then, she needed to move to Missouri where she worked at a firm pumping out 75+/- retail projects all across the country. It was an incredible opportunity where she learned how to be the most efficient project manager but after 4 years she needed to move closer to family on the East coast, to Atlanta. Here she worked at firms as project manager for retail, multifamily and industrial projects. She loved this work but raising her kids began to take priority. After taking some time off she and her husband decided they would like to pursue their original passion of residential design together in their own firm, Perusse Design Studio.
