Hartwell Cabin

This 300 square foot cabin and painting studio, located in Martin, GA near the Appalachian Trail…The project program includes a living/dining kitchenette space with a bathroom with a toilet, sink and shower. The project includes a gatehouse with sauna, outdoor shower, and gate which frames the view of the path and the new tiny house. The exterior façade is a rainscreen made of large 2”x10” white oak recycled from a local demolished barn. A large window aperture faces southeast and frames the view of the lake and cove.
